Expanded Dental Assistant

Marsena graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned her dental certification in 1999 from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. In 2003 she was trained in expanded dentistry. She has been working in dentistry since 1999, and she assists Dr. Lumsdon with cosmetic cases, including restorations, lumineers, traditional veneers and ceramic crowns. “I am proud to work at Choice Dental where the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.” She is married and has two children.

Hygiene Coordinator and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Jen graduated from Ben Davis High School in 2000, then earned her dental assisting degree from Professional Careers Institute where she was the honor student of her class. Since her graduation in 2005 she has worked for Dr. Lumsdon. Jen is one of the first people new patients meet. She takes digital X-rays, new patient photos, intra oral camera images and charts existing restorations and is trained in Zoom! Teeth Whitening. She also helps educate patients on exams and procedures for treatment. “I am greatly impressed with the services and the highest quality of dental technology that Choice Dental Centre offers our patients.”

Kathy

Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Kathy graduated from high school in Del Rio, Texas. She first learned about dentistry as a Red Cross volunteer at an Air Force base dental clinic. Kathy joined Choice Dental Centre in July of 2006, and assists Dr. Lumsdon in a variety of ways, including, greeting and assisting with patients, taking X-rays, placing fillings and maintaining equipment. “The latest technology in digital X-rays, computerized charting and intra oral cameras with monitors in all rooms means we can show our patients what we see.” A graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry, she is certified in expanded restorative procedures. She and her husband, John, have three grown children, Todd, Karen and Mark.

Angie graduated from Center Grove High School and attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. She joined the office in October of 2007. “Everyone works as a team by pulling together. Dr. Lumsdon is extremely compassionate with her patients and really listens to them.” Angie has a son, Justin.

Tasha
Business Assistant
Tasha joined the team at Choice Dental Centre in July of 2007. She brings with her five years of dental office experience. Tasha is a business assistant and handles insurance and financial matters in our practice. Tasha’s caring spirit and open ear help our patients in understanding insurance frequencies and limitations in order to maximize your benefits while obtaining the smile you have always wanted.

Amanda

Business Assistant

Amanda is a graduate of New Palestine High School and attended the dental assisting program at Walker Career Center. Her dental experience started in orthodontics. She has been in the dental field for 7 years functioning in the bussiness assistant role for 5 years. Amanda has a vast knowledge of dental procedures and will be glad to help you understand treatment needed to make your smile shine! Amanda is married with one daughter.

Megan

Dental Hygienist

Megan graduated from Bremen High School and later from Indiana University School of Dentistry in for her degree in dental hygiene. She joined Choice Dental Centre in May 2008. Megan loves working for Dr. Lumsdon and her staff because of the caring and compassionate attitude they all share. Megan has been married to her husband Brian since 2007.
